My stated mission in real estate is to help clients make informed decisions about their real estate sales and purchases, whether for personal use or for investment. I am a former corporate attorney, and it is both my nature and my training to become fully informed before embarking on any financial venture. I approach my clients' transactions with the same care and diligence.

I was born in Boston, raised in the Detroit suburbs, educated at the University of Michigan and University of Michigan Law School, employed as an attorney for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn and Owens-Corning Fiberglas in Toledo, and then transplanted to the South soon after starting a family.

My husband and I met at the University of Michigan and have been married for over 30 years. Our daughter is a Vanderbilt graduate, now in investment banking in Boston. Our son is a Dartmouth graduate, now in corporate consulting in Washington, D.C.

We lived in the Atlanta suburbs for almost 15 years. Like most Atlanta residents, trips to the Destin area became a family tradition every spring and summer. We transitioned from being just vacationers to serious real estate investors in 2000. I engrossed myself in learning about the Destin area market and found that many of my friends followed my lead in making their real estate investments. When my husband and I had the opportunity to relocate to Destin full-time in 2004, I decided to pursue a career in real estate.

My first year in the business, I was the leading new sales agent in the local franchise office of a large, multi-state real estate company. I built a network of wonderful clients and a portfolio of excellent, high-end listings. During a transaction, I had the pleasure of working with Blake Morar, owner/agent of Destin Real Estate Company and his staff.

I was impressed with his organization and the strength of their marketing program. I joined the team in September of 2006.
